Delivery
Products are delivered either from Swiss Bag Company Sàrl warehouses or via a third party partner. Swiss Bag Company Sàrl accepts no responsibility for waiting times, but undertakes to supply goods to its customers within a maximum of four working days from receipt of the order and payment. In the event that delivery cannot be made within two weeks of the date of the order, the customer will be notified and will have the option of cancelling the order. In the event of the goods being returned by the merchant if the delivery has not been made for any reason whatsoever on the part of the break, the costs of re-shipment shall be borne by the customer.
For deliveries abroad, shipping costs are calculated according to the weight of the order and the country of destination. These costs are estimated during the ordering process and are provided for information only. They may be adjusted after the order has been placed, and in the event of a difference, the cost will be borne by the customer. In this case, the customer will be informed within three working days of placing the order of the additional amount to be paid. They will then have three working days to confirm whether they wish to maintain their order by accepting the additional charge. In the absence of a response from the customer within this period, the order will be automatically cancelled. Foreign customers are responsible for customs duties, VAT in the country of delivery and any other applicable taxes. Any unclaimed goods will not be returned to Switzerland and will be sorted according to the procedures of the post office of the country concerned. If the goods are nevertheless returned to Switzerland, the cost of the return will either be invoiced in addition to the cost of the return or deducted from the amount originally paid at the time of reimbursement, at the customer's request.
Ordering - Payment methods - Postage and packing
The customer places an order online by completing the order form prepared by Swiss Bag Company Sàrl on its website https://www.swissbags.ch/shop-en3024.html . Customers can choose between two methods of payment: direct debit via their credit card or direct debit via their PostFinance card.
Guarantee
The goods are covered by a guarantee for normal use, in accordance with the expected uses and within the framework of the regulations in force. In the event of a defect in the goods occurring during the guarantee period, the customer has the right to request replacement of the defective goods. If replacement by an identical item is not feasible, the customer may choose, at his or her discretion, between rescission of the contract or a proportional reduction in the purchase price.
For our customers abroad, the guarantee is valid if the goods were purchased directly from our physical shop or online. However, all shipping costs (return or reshipment), customs duties, VAT in the country of delivery and any other applicable taxes are to be paid by the customer. If this is not the case, the guarantee must be claimed directly from the retailer from whom the goods were purchased.
Return
The customer has a period of 30 days from the date of purchase to return the goods, provided that they have not been used, if they are not satisfied with them. The cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the customer. On receipt of the returned goods, they will be checked by our logistics department, which will confirm the condition of the case.
Following this, the customer will have the choice between exchanging the goods for another model of their choice with payment or reimbursement of the difference or, if they so wish, a full refund of the amount initially paid, which will be made directly to the means of payment used for the order.
Returns are not possible for goods sent abroad.
Contractual terms
Product offers made by Swiss Bag Company Ltd. are not binding. The contract between the customer and Swiss Bag Company Ltd. is concluded when the customer places an order and it is accepted by Swiss Bag Company Ltd. This acceptance is materialised by the sending of an order confirmation by e-mail, telephone or post.
Protection of customer data
Swiss Bag Company Sàrl attaches great importance to the protection of its customers' personal data and undertakes to comply with the laws and regulations in force in Switzerland concerning data confidentiality and security. The personal information collected at the time of ordering, such as name, address, e-mail address and payment details, is treated confidentially and used solely for the purposes of managing orders, providing the services requested and communicating with the customer. Under no circumstances will this data be sold, rented or disclosed to unauthorised third parties, except in cases provided for by law or with the explicit consent of the customer. Swiss Bag Company Sàrl implements appropriate security measures to protect data against unauthorised access, misuse, loss or alteration. Customers have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the use of their personal data at any time by contacting Swiss Bag Company Sàrl.
